A Lot of Truth...

This morning, while drinking my coffee and scrolling thru FB, I happened upon this. Made me stop and think for a moment. Oddly I recall that when my Grandkids were a little younger, how much they would enjoy looking at their scrapbooks that I had made for them They would stand in front of the digital frame watching their photos going by. They would even ask if they could watch the video of their birth. In our den we have devoted an entire wall to Family Photos, mostly kids, but none the less, they are PHOTOS, and the kids always check out if there are any "new" ones added.

I have clients asking me quiet often if they could have a disc of their photos - since I am into always trying to keep my client happy, I oblige them. I often wonder if my clients ever do anything with the discs? Photos last forever, if you are willing to spend the money on a professional photographer, why would you not spend the money on professional prints? Sure a disc itself may last forever, but will they become outdated with nothing to read it? As a photographer, the only disc I burn are those for clients - I send mine off to have them professionally printed. When I am gone from this earth, my grandkids will have all of these images to pass down thru many more generations. After all, it is a box of photos that we spend hours going thru and looking at as a family- not a box of discs....
